Sewing Machine Day

Did you have a 'toy' sewing machine when you were small? Did it work for real? 

 This pretty antique toy sewing machine is exactly like one we had when I was a little girl. 
I didn't sew on it for real, but I pretended! :)

 My sewing machine design was inspired by this loved machine.


I first created it for my Rose Cottage Sewing Room sampler quilt.


And more recently I used it for my Patchwork Sewing Machine Cover.
I set up this picture yesterday, for Sewing Machine Day!
